Michael and Grace Janney and grandson present the City of Powder Springs a flag that was given to them as a gift in honor of their niece, Jennifer Lynn Kome, who died in the attack on the World Trade Center. The Flag of Honor contains the names of all those that perished in the World Trade Towers, the Pentagon, United flights 175 and 93 and American flights 911 and 77 including first responders on September 11, 2001. The flag is proudly displayed in the lobby of the new police headquarters.
