Cobb Workforce Partnership
The Cobb Workforce Partnership is a coalition of Cobb County and Marietta City Schools, Kennesaw State University, Chattahoochee Technical College, Georgia Highlands College, Life University, CobbWorks, and over 30 Cobb businesses—as a unified commitment to identify and address the workforce needs of our business community and to establish a pipeline of job-ready workers in Cobb. The vision is that every Cobb employer has an opportunity to educate and train their future workforce in partnership with educators as early as K-12, and every Cobb student is connected with career pathway opportunities in our community through every level of their educational track.

WorkSource Cobb provides access to a system of employment and education services for the community. Georgia Quick Start
Georgia Quick Start is a free program customized for companies in various industries. The oldest program of its kind in the U.S., Quick Start has improved the skill sets of more than 1 million employees in 6,500 projects. Quick Start helps companies maintain a competitive advantage by preparing workers for skill sets needed tomorrow as well as today. The Quick Start training regimen is shaped specifically for the skills that a company is looking to develop in its employees. Because of the program, workers have been able to assemble intricate aircraft components, grow bacteria for vaccines, manufacture plastic and metal products and field inquiries from customers, by phone or online.

Higher Education
Seven Colleges and Universities are located in near Powder Springs, such as Kennesaw State University and Chattahoochee Technical College. Ten colleges and universities are located within 25 miles of Powder Springs , including Georgia Technical Institute (Georgia Tech), Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), Morehouse and Spellman College, and Emory University.
