Development Authority of Powder Springs RFP

The Development Authority of Powder Springs is seeking a development partner for the development of properties that may attract higher wage business and industry, as well as redeveloping key corridors/areas of the City. Certain properties that have been targeted for annexation and/or redevelopment by the Development Authority of Powder Springs, Powder Springs Planning Commission and the Powder Springs Mayor and Council are eligible candidates; however, the Authority would also consider partnerships for properties strategically located along an arterial or major collector roadway.

IFB # 22-011 - Invitation for Bids: Detention Pond Maintenance Services

The City of Powder Springs is seeking competitive sealed bids for the purpose of establishing a term contract for maintenance of the city’s twenty-eight (28) detention ponds. 

Sealed bids shall be received at the Powder Springs Police Department, 1114 Richard Sailors Parkway, Powder Springs, GA 30127 prior to noon EDT Thursday, July 14, 2022. No proposals will be accepted after the noon deadline.

All communications related to submission of a proposal, including submission of questions, must be coordinated through Kelly Axt, City Clerk, at kaxt@cityofpowdersprings.org, by noon EDT, Wednesday, July 6, 2022. 

A pre-bid conference will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at the Powder Springs Police Department, 1114 Richard Sailors Parkway, Powder Springs, GA 30127.

No bid or proposal may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after date of bid opening, unless otherwise specified in the bid documents. Powder Springs reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities and technicalities, to reject portions of the bids, and to award contracts in a manner consistent with the City and laws governing the State of Georgia.

RFP # 22-012 - Request for Proposals: Fleet Management System

The City of Powder Springs is seeking competitive sealed proposals from qualified firms for the purpose of establishing a contract for a Fleet Management system.  

Sealed proposals shall be submitted to The Powder Springs Police Department, 1114 Richard D. Sailors Parkway, Powder Springs, GA 30127, prior to noon EDT, Friday, July 15, 2022. No proposals will be accepted after the noon deadline.

All communications related to submission of a proposal, including submission of questions, must be coordinated through Kelly Axt, City Clerk, by noon EDT Friday, July 8, 2022.

IFB # 22-013 - Invitation For Bids: Pine Bluff Pond Repair

The City of Powder Springs will be seeking qualified, experienced, and licensed contractors with demonstrated skills and experience in providing construction services for the demo, grading, wall repair and replacement, landscaping, and all other work necessary for the completion of the Pine Bluff Pond Repair Project IFB 22-013 at 3719, 3721, 3721, 3725, 3727, and 3729 Lockerbie Lane, Powder Springs, GA 30127. This proposal shall also include all materials, labor, equipment, and miscellaneous related items to complete this project in accordance with the terms of the Invitation for Bid (“IFB”), any resulting contract, and the construction documents/specifications prepared by Croy Engineering, LLC for the City of Powder Springs. Prospective submitters can request the bid package by emailing the Program Manager, Chad Kastner at ckastner@croyeng.com.      

The proposals shall be submitted to Powder Springs Police Department at 1114 Richard D. Sailors Parkway prior to 10 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 19, 2022, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. There will be a pre-proposal meeting on Thursday, Aug. 4, 2022, at 10 a.m. via Zoom. All inquiries and questions shall be submitted to ckastner@croyeng.com on or before 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 12, 2022.  All communication relating to this proposal, either before or after the opening, must be coordinated through Chad Kastner, at 770-971-5407 or ckastner@croyeng.com.  

The City of Powder Springs reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, to waive irregularities, informalities, and technicalities, award the contract in the best interest of the City of Powder Springs, or to request re-proposal. The City of Powder Springs reserves the right to accept all or any part of the proposal and to increase or decrease quantities to meet additional or reduced requirements of the City of Powder Springs. The City also reserves the right to cancel the agreement with the successful submitter. The City of Powder Springs will not be obligated to award contracts based solely on price or low proposal. The full cost of this proposal shall be borne by the submitting company. RFP #22-010 (Rebid) - Request for Proposals: Accounting Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Software

The City of Powder Springs, Georgia is seeking sealed proposals from interested service providers for a comprehensive cloud-based accounting system.

Sealed proposals shall be received by no later than noon EDT on Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2022, at the City of Powder Springs Police Department, 1114 Richard Sailors Parkway, Powder Springs, Georgia 30127, sent to the attention of Kelly Axt, City Clerk. Late submittals will not be accepted.

The deadline for submission of questions shall be noon EDT on Friday, Aug. 5, 2022. All questions shall be submitted to the attention of Kelly Axt, City Clerk, at kaxt@CityofPowderSprings.org. Vendors shall submit an original and four (4) copies of the proposal along with an electronic copy of the proposal.

RFP # 22-014 - Request for Proposals: Stormwater System Assessment

The City of Powder Springs, Georgia, is seeking competitive sealed proposals from qualified vendors to perform a comprehensive assessment of the City’s storm drainage system. The City intends to use a portion of its American Rescue Plan Act grant to fund this effort.

Sealed proposals shall be received by no later than noon EDT on Friday, Sept. 2, 2022, at the City of Powder Springs Police Department, 1114 Richard Sailors Parkway, Powder Springs, Georgia 30127, sent to the attention of Kelly Axt, City Clerk. Late submittals will not be accepted.
