IFB 21-005 Florence Road at CH James Parkway
The City of Powder Springs will be seeking qualified, experienced, and licensed contractors with demonstrated skills and experience in providing construction services for the traffic control, grading, curb and gutter, concrete sidewalks, paving, and all other work necessary for the completion of IFB 21-005 on Florence Road at CH James Parkway.
There will be a pre-proposal meeting at the City of Powder Springs City Hall, 4484 Marietta St., Powder Springs, GA, 30127. The meeting will start at 10 a.m. EDT Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2021.
This Proposal shall be opened at 10 a.m. EDT Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2021, at the City of Powder Springs City Hall, 4484 Marietta St., Powder Springs, GA, 30127. All proposals must be submitted for consideration prior to 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2021.
Any inquiries, suggestions, or requests concerning interpretation, clarification, or additional information pertaining to the Proposal shall be made in writing to Chad Kastner of Croy Engineering, L.L.C., 200 North Cobb Parkway, Building 400, Suite 413, Marietta, GA, 30062 at 770-971-5407. Such request shall be in writing and shall be made on or before 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2021. Request must be received by Chad Kastner of Croy Engineering on or before 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2021.
IFB 21-006 Powder Springs Park Improvements, Phase 1
The City of Powder Springs will be seeking qualified, experienced, and licensed contractors with demonstrated skills and experience in providing construction services for the grading, curb and gutter, demolition, and all other work necessary for the completion of IFB 21-006 Powder Springs Park Improvements Phase 1 project. This proposal shall also include all materials, labor, equipment, and miscellaneous related items to complete this project in accordance with the terms of the Invitation for Bid (“IFB”), any resulting contract, and the construction documents/specifications prepared by Croy Engineering, LLC for the City of Powder Springs. Prospective submitters can go on the City of Powder Springs website (www.cityofpowdersprings.org) to download the Document Package and any Addenda. After downloading Document Package or any Addenda notify Chad Kastner by email that you downloaded the package at email@example.com.
UPDATED: The proposals shall be submitted to City Hall at 4484 Marietta St. prior to 10 a.m. EST on Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2021, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. There will be a pre-proposal meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2021, at 10 a.m. via zoom. All inquiries and questions shall be submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org on or before 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2021. Development Authority of Powder Springs RFP
The Development Authority of Powder Springs is seeking a development partner for the development of properties that may attract higher wage business and industry, as well as redeveloping key corridors/areas of the City. Certain properties that have been targeted for annexation and/or redevelopment by the Development Authority of Powder Springs, Powder Springs Planning Commission and the Powder Springs Mayor and Council are eligible candidates; however, the Authority would also consider partnerships for properties strategically located along an arterial or major collector roadway.
RFQ/RFP 21-007 Design-Build Services for a new Municipal Complex
The City of Powder Springs is requesting qualifications from Design Builders that are interested in, and capable of providing, a combination of professional services, to provide Architectural/Engineering design services, pre-construction consulting services and construction and renovation services for a new city facility (“Project”) at the existing Municipal Court building located at 4483 Pineview Drive, Powder Springs, Georgia. This project is for the renovation of the existing facility to house City Hall, Community and Economic Development and Municipal Court services due to the City’s urban redevelopment plan to redevelop underutilized properties and facilities as private, mixed use development to accomplish the goals and objectives of the Comprehensive Plan of the City of Powder Springs.
Sealed statements and proposals shall be received by no later than noon EDT on Friday, Aug. 13, 2021, at the City of Powder Springs, 4484 Marietta St., Powder Springs, GA 30127, sent to the attention of Kelly Axt, City Clerk.

RFP 21-008 Plan and Produce July 4 Independence Day Celebration
The City of Powder Springs is soliciting proposals from qualified persons or firms to develop, promote and manage the July 4, 2022, Independence Day Celebration. Proposals will be received by the City of Powder Springs at the office of the City Clerk, 4484 Marietta St., Powder Springs, GA 30127 until noon ET Nov. 15, 2021. Each Proposal must be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed to the City at the above referenced address. Each sealed envelope containing a Proposal must be plainly marked on the outside “City of Powder Springs July 4, 2022”. If forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the Proposal must be enclosed in another envelope addressed to the City of Powder Springs, Georgia, c/o City Clerk, 4484 Marietta St., Powder Springs, GA 30127
The City reserves the right to take all proposals received under advisement for a period not to exceed ninety (90) days after the date upon which such proposals are opened and declared, and all proposals submitted shall remain valid and subject to enforcement during that period of time.
