Downtown Powder Springs is the heart of the City and the place where residents and visitors can meet for recreation and entertainment. Powder Springs has a full schedule of events that occur On The Lawn in Town Square. There is always plenty of parking and most events are free to the public. July 4th Celebration and Fireworks

Cost: Free and Open to the Public; Downtown Powder Springs is the place to be on July 4th! The fun begins at 7 p.m. with a performance by The Glow Band! The festivities will end with a spectacular fireworks display presented by Croy Engineering! This event is free and open to the public. Games, inflatables, vendors, and food will also be available throughout the celebration.
Our Fireworks will be shooting from a new location this year in Powder Springs Park. Please plan to park your vehicle in a different location as the park will be closed on July 4th. More Information
National Night Out hosted by Powder Springs Police Department

Tree Lighting Ceremony

Cost: FREE and Open to the Public The City of Powder Springs would like to invite you to the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday December 2nd on the town square lawn in downtown Powder Springs. Join us for live entertainment, hot chocolate and cookies, and pictures with Santa.
Reindeer 5k Family Fun Run
Location: Wildhorse Trail The City of Powder Springs Wellness Team is proud to be sponsoring the Reindeer 5k fun run on the Wildhorse Trail. Staging for the run will be at 9 a.m. at the Wildhorse Creek Park located at 3820 Macedonia Rd. by the lower ballfield. The run will commence on the scenic Wildhorse Trail and will loop back to Wildhorse Creek Park and will end with hot cocoa and cookies. Registration is $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 4-12 years old. Children 1-3 years old are free. A family participation package is available for $25. Pets are allowed as long as they are on leashes. The proceeds from the run will benefit the City of Powder Springs Angel Trees. Participants who register by November 17th will receive a Reindeer Run t-shirt. All levels of fitness are encouraged to attend.
