Update on Outdoor Watering
Effective April 1, 2008, some Level 4 Drought watering restrictions will be eased. The Mayor and City Council
have agreed to tentatively allow the Powder Springs water customers to have some limited outdoor watering privileges. However, if at any time during the coming months the City determines that we are not able to reduce our normal usage by the Georgia EPD mandated 10%; the Mayor and City Council will have to reactivate the full outdoor watering restrictions. Go to the Environmental Protection Division of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources for more information on outdoor watering and ways to conserve.
